About Us
Spain’s first karting track.
Since 1973!
The history of karting in Spain dates back to the 1960s and 1970s, when enthusiasm for this exciting sport was beginning to take shape throughout the country. It was in this context that Jaume Ampurdanés Juan, a motorsport enthusiast and 8-time consecutive Spanish champion in karting championships, decided to import karts from Italy.

Through his enthusiasm and dedication, Ampurdanés Juan organized some of the first karting competitions in the country. His work was fundamental in spreading interest in the world of karting among motorsport enthusiasts and laying the groundwork for the future development of this sport in Spain.
Karting Viladecans has been a benchmark in the sport of karting since its creation.

In 1973 we established Spain’s first karting track in Viladecans, Barcelona. Transforming what was initially just a competition circuit into Minilandia, an attraction open to the public, so that everyone who wanted to could come and feel what a professional karting driver feels; it was a huge success. Years later, it was decided to add a smaller circuit so that children could also experience that same sensation. Likewise, an 18-hole mini-golf course was built, along with a bar-restaurant, and other attractions such as trampolines, the carousel, children’s motorcycles, the mini train…

Currently, run by the Ampurdanés family, with over 50 years of experience, we strive every day to renovate ourselves and offer new leisure alternatives and the best service to our users.
