The most important thingThe most important thing
Under-18s in the big kartsUnder-18s in the big karts
The insurance for the big karts, which are the adult karts, does not cover under-18s. That is why two things are needed for a minor to drive: their parent or legal guardian must sign the authorisation, and the venue or the track manager must decide that this minor can drive. The authorisation is necessary, but it does not give the right to drive: the track manager has the final say, taking into account each minor's height, age and ability.
It is very unlikely that a child under 15 will be allowed on this track. The big karts have a minimum height of 1.50 m and reach 80 km/h. For younger children there are the kids' karts and the MiniMini karts, which need no authorisation.
This authorisation is only for under-18s who are going to drive the big karts. It is not needed for the kids' karts, the MiniMini karts or the other attractions.
Download the authorisation
It is the same document in three languages. You can fill it in on a computer or by hand.
How to hand it in
- 1At the ticket officeBring the authorisation printed and signed by hand on the day of your visit. It is the simplest way.
- 2By emailIf you prefer to send it in advance, email it to admin@kartingminilandia.com signed by hand and scanned, or with a valid electronic signature (for example, a digital certificate or electronic ID card). Tell us which day you are coming.

Helmet and health
A helmet is always worn in the karts. We provide it, so there is no need to bring your own.
If you have any physical discomfort or health problem, tell the staff before getting in.
If you start driving and feel unwell, stop as soon as you can and do not carry on. Let the staff know.
Nothing hanging: long hair tied back and inside the helmet.
You cannot drive with loose headscarves or hijabs, scarves, long necklaces or dangling cords.
Before the helmet, we give you a single-use paper helmet liner. With very long hair or a hijab, the liner may not be enough to cover everything.
The karts have guards on the engine, the chain and the brakes, but they do not cover every case either. If hair or a piece of cloth gets caught in the engine or the chain, the consequences can be very serious.
That is why, before getting in, everything that hangs is tied back or taken off. If you have any doubts, ask the staff before putting on the helmet.
The 3-minute briefing
Before your first session in the big karts, read the briefing: how the kart works, how to brake, the racing line and the track rules.
It is also explained in person before going out on the track, and it is available in Spanish, Catalan and English.
The flags
- Only two flags are used at Minilandia.
- Chequered flag: the session or race is over. Ease off and come into the pits.
- Catalan flag: starts the race in the Grand Prix.
Kids' two-seater karts
The two-seater karts on the kids' track carry one adult and one child, or two adults.
Two under-18s cannot ride together in the same kart.
The adult always has the pedals; the child has their own steering wheel.
Karting regulations
Minilandia is a rental karting track and follows its own rules: the ones on this page and in the briefing.
If you want to read the official regulations for competitive karting, they are published by the federations.
If you have questions
Call or write to us before you come.
On the day of your visit, ask the staff anything you like before getting in: that is what they are there for.

AgeMainly for over-18s. Minors can drive if they are around the reference height and reach the pedals well, with the signed authorisation of their guardian at the ticket office.
The helmet is compulsory and we provide it.
Before your first session you read the briefing, with the track rules.
Under-18s need the authorisation signed by a parent or legal guardian, and the track manager's permission.
Long hair is tied back and tucked inside the helmet.
Nothing hanging loose: no loose headscarves or hijabs, scarves, long necklaces or cords. They could get caught in the engine or the chain.
Kids Karts
Minimum height1.20 m
AgeNo minimum age, as long as the child reaches the steering wheel or rides in a double kart with an adult.
To drive alone you only need to be 1.20 m tall. If the child is not tall enough, they can ride in a two-seater kart with an adult.
Two-seaters carry one adult and one child, or two adults. Never two under-18s together.

Everyone who goes in pays for a ticket, whether they play or not, even for a single hole.
A group of minors may go in with one responsible adult without a ticket. Only one person may go in without paying.
Each player uses their own putter; they are not shared. There are putters for all ages.

Trampolines
One person per trampoline. If two jump at the same time, they can collide.
